A Burden for Our Community

OUR STORY

Christian Friend,

My name is Tarita, and I have a vision from my heart’s cry.

These are desperate times; times that should compel every Christian and burden every church to a sacrificial offering of continual prayers for revival.

In response to this vision, God has led me to organize opportunities for you to take part in this prayer for revival personally. In your community, every Monday, Host Churches will open their doors from 11:30 a.m. until to 1:00 p.m. for Christians to gather together, fast their lunch break and pray.

Like many I know, God has placed a call to pray for revival forcefully on my heart. Since the summer of 2014 I've been in a spiritual bootcamp of sorts. I've allowed the Lord full access to my heart and also to my home, to create an atmosphere of unity and peace where revival could take root and flow henceforth.  Now, with an ever-increasing urgency, the Lord is calling for His churches in the community to come together in unity and in one accord for prayer. The Lord has laid it on my heart to seek willing Christians to set aside time weekly for fasting and prayer. The purpose for this time is for His glory, honor and praise; a time not for preaching, teaching, persuading, reasoning or for personal prayer; not a time to receive anything, but a time to give!

This will be a time to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; to give thanks to Him and praise His name. For a time to repent and turn to God that our sins may be wiped out, and a time of refreshing may come. A time to rend our hearts and return to the Lord our God and weep for healing on our land and an awakening of His people.

Will you take part in this pivotal and crucial time in the church's history by joining us for prayer at a local Host Church on Mondays?

Sincerely,

Tarita Kuhns
